IR 35 changes are coming! Are you ready?

What are the opportunities and risks resulting from new IR35 changes?

EVENT ON 16 MARCH 2020

What are the opportunities and risks resulting from new IR35 changes?

Changes to the IR 35 Rules are coming into force on 6 April 2020. They will have a significant impact on many contractors working in construction, IT and other sectors who have until now been “outside IR 35” and not treated as PAYE employees through their personal service companies (PSCs). In future, such contractors will find themselves “inside IR 35” and thus treated as PAYE employees.

Although the changes are not yet in force, the effects are already being felt. A number of large organisations have announced that they will no longer use “outside IR 35” contractors including IBM, Lloyds Bank, HSBC, Barclays and GlaxoSmithKline.

To discuss the implications of the changes to contractors, companies providing services to large organisations through PSCs and to industries themselves that are reliant on PSC contractors, we are hosting a seminar where three experts will give their views.
